The Lessons of Ignorance

Ignorance is one of the great lessons of life.  Living in a world with your eyes closed, capable of seeing but shadows behind your eyelids, how do you go about your day?  What is the importance of seeing?  Nature provided us with the sense of sight for a reason.  To what I am referring is not the normal seeing of things.  Yet hiding from that even, there is something you need to go through to understand the appreciation of basic sight.  Ignorance is that which veils life before you.  Beneath a curtain dropped on the stage, the knowing is just beyond the sheet tailored by the great play.

Parable of the Pencil

Here is a story about a pencil.  At a point of our lives, we have picked up a pencil.  During the course of growing up, it evolved into pens, mechanical pencils, and keyboards.  While there are crayons and markers that helped us on our journey, lets focus on the main instrument we use in our writing.  The Pencil Maker story goes to the root with a wooden pencil…  

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

“There are 5 things you need to know,” he told the pencil, “Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be.”

Surpassing the potency of the modern era could be the greatest feat in the exchange of where life mundanely goes by to the possibility of living in magic.  If life only reveals an indistinguishable undertone, it could be described as a black and white rerun of a motion picture.  These days we could be faced with many media, devices, and desires that could grab our attention.  With the galore of indulgence divested in every angle, taste buds only graze the surface of layers.  If you live only in the surface, then this is what you will see.  Magic is described as a supernatural force.  Refreshing the spark of imagination, the discovery of magic is found within our daily lives through the power of meaning.  You give magic to what you love.  The true essence of magic is within meaning.

Opportunity Comes To Life

Drawn over bestowed by the setting sun, the silhouettes black, remarkably missing an opportunity of interacting with life.  When addressing the qualities of what we love to do, there should be an active responsibility of participation.  We can categorize all of life in the setting sun while the rest silhouetted amongst the background.  This can be said as to missing a moment.  Imagine missing the chance to meet the love of your life, passing a triumph succeeding a career prospect, or being still where a moment of fortune is present at hand.
