Who do you follow?

Who do you follow?  This might seem as a funny thing to ask.  Though, living in some kind of modality of life, it affects our way of being.  Suppose you are depressed, anxious, or other feelings.  At peace would be great, loving the present.  Emotions seems to come back again.  It could be hard to see ourselves during the day because it can be a bit working in the clockworks of balancing life, work, and the frontier that rest on our shoulders.  However we could have these emotions that run our lives, what is it actually doing?

Life is a bit of a mystery.  Though, Lao Tzu was trying to tell us something.  This may not be the big puzzle piece that solves the mystery of life, though it could help during the course of our day.

“Time”

As you follow particular modalities of life, such as depression, anxiousness, or even peace, there is a consumption of filling our day with these issues.  There is a consumption of time.

Did you ever here the saying that you are what you eat?

When you fill your life with negative attitudes, that becomes who you are.  The more you are this, then you become it.  Knowing this, how much of your day are you following these feelings.

Awareness is key.  With awareness, we can notice the subtle things that litter in daily life.

While awareness helps, the second step is action.  This determines choice.  So we may live in accordance to our inner heart.  Our circle of life can live in better confidence.  Knowing this, we can live at peace, loving in the present.

If you are depressed, you are living in the past.
If you are anxious, you are living in the future.
If you are at peace, you are loving in the present.
– Lao Tzu
