I am sure you have heard this before, that it is about the process not the goal. When you chase after the goal only, there is a chance to become short-sighted and empty. Though this empty is empty of what brings love, joy, and hardship.
For each step in the process, you are gaining experience. This is much better than the goal itself. The experience helps you to know what happened in between. Developing yourself learns appreciation, difficulty, defeat, success, strategy, perserverance, knowledge, understanding, truth, and many other worthwhile accomplishments.
Each step in the process is as planting a seed. Some of them sprout early. Some of them sprout late. It could be what you are developing in yourself. Though don’t judge each day by the harvest. Sometimes it is good. Sometimes it is bad. It could be something that challenges you. Though put the effort that counts.
