Beauty and Natural Beauty

There is beauty everywhere, however only those that are aware of the beauty can see it.  It’s easy to see that nature is full of beauty.  Only that somehow it is a combination of our eyes accustomed to something ordinary.  It is probably due to living in such a mundane life, something less than vivid, forgetting the importance that life has, or losing a spark which unites us to something within.

Muddy Road

Tanzan and Ekido were once traveling together down a muddy road. A heavy rain was still falling.

Coming around a bend, they met a lovely girl in a silk kimono and sash, unable to cross the intersection.

“Come on, girl” said Tanzan at once. Lifting her in his arms, he carried her over the mud.

Ekido did not speak again until that night when they reached a lodging temple. Then he no longer could restrain himself. “We monks don’t do near females,” he told Tanzan, “especially not young and lovely ones. It is dangerous. Why did you do that?”

“I left the girl there,” said Tanzan. “Are you still carrying her?”

Growth is a Conquest

Growth is a conquest in everyday life.  One grows through strengths and weaknesses.  While it works either way, there is no exact method in how to grow.  Life holds no contradiction to the various methods.  There is no right or wrong way.  However the point is to give your growth a perspective so when you are growing, you can be happier and have a much better value to yourself as well as with others.
